[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480,true][bg=E4E5E7] rebecca alana murphy , It’s scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls. It comes awake and I can’t control it, hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head. Why won’t somebody come and save me from this, make it end? I must confess that I feel like a monster, I feel like a m o n s t e r, feel like a m o n s t e r. "you've got nerve, i'll give you that watch the world crumble while you sit on your ass" it's scratching on the walls the basics, the basics, the basics NAME: Rebecca Alana Murphy OTHER NAMES: Becca ... if you call her by an other variation of "Rebecca" or by "Rebecca" then she might just knock your teeth out AGE && BIRTHDAY: 28 && April fourth GENDER && SEXUALITY: Female && Bisexual OCCUPATION: Owner of "Little Read Book" MEMBER GROUP: Local it's just beneath the skin the appearance, the appearance, the appearance FACE CLAIM: Katie Cassidy BASIC APPEARANCE: Becca stands at a rather even five foot seven inches with a pair of long, toned legs that make up the majority of her height while her torso is a bit on the shorter side, giving her a slightly odd and awkward appearance if one looks closely enough. Her entire body is tight and toned with almost no fat, though there is some, and her legs meet up with a set of wide hips which then curve in at her waist, only to spread out again at her chest. Despite her tight figure Becca still has very womanly curves that she likes to show off whenever possible. Blonde hair falls to just past her shoulders, lightly framing an oval face. She sports a pair of brilliant blue-green eyes. TATTOOS && PIERCINGS: Becca has a total of six ear piercings and refuses to get them placed anywhere else on her body. In her right ear her lobe is pierced twice and her cartilage is pierced once. In her left ear she has the same two lobe piercings while an industrial can be found in her cartilage. As for tattoos, well Becca has a few. On her hip is a small, black and white rose (click) that she got when she was fourteen thanks to a friend who had just gotten his own tattoo gun set. Her entire right side is covered in a black and white rose and vine tattoo (click). SCARS: Becca has a scar on her back that stretches from her right shoulder to her left hip that she got after falling off the back of her boyfriend's motorcycle. There's a few smaller ones, like one just above her knee that she got after falling out of a tree and others that came with just being a rambunctious teenager. STYLE: Becca's hair is naturally curly and because of this she usually takes the time to straighten it in the mornings so that she can leave it down. However, in times of laziness or if she's in a rush to get out of the house then quite often she won't take the time to straighten her hair and will instead pull it into a ponytail, occasionally wearing a hat to hide the frizziness that ensues. Make up isn't something that Becca wears a lot of, though she wears some and only around her eyes. She places black eyeliner all the way around, highlighting her eyes and making the green stand out a decent amount and then follows that up with a shade of gray, giving her a smoky look. Her ears on both sides are pierced, two in each lobe, a cartridge piercing in one and an industrial in the other. Becca refuses to go out without wearing an earring in each partly because she thinks it looks weird and also because the cartridge and industrial piercings will both close if she goes without. Fashion isn't necessarilly something that Becca actually pays attention to, but she does like to look as good as she can if she's going out. She tends to stray away from skirts or dresses if she can help it and will instead wear a pair of jeans, either skinny or boot cut, and she loves heels. Occasionally she'll wear a pair of tennis shoes, but for the most one can find Becca in boots or heels. Her shirts are always form-fitting and they don't consist of bright, eye catching colors or goofy graphics that don't make any sense. During the colder months she'll wear hoodies or jackets, though due to her hate of thick coats one will never see her in them. In the privacy of her own apartment then one can find Becca in a pair of sweats or pajama bottoms and a two sizes too big shirt or something else that just equals "casual". the secret side of me i never let you see the personality, the personality, the personality LIKES: Evenings, alcohol, loud music, rock music and techno music, mint gum, caffeine in nearly any form, running/jogging, flirting, video games, reading, history, shoes, clothes, getting into fights, winning, chocolate, early mornings, coffee (yes, it gets its own like), guys with muscle, guys that are taller than her, girls who are the same height or slightly shorter, scars, tattoos, cherries, strawberries, coconut smells, big dogs DISLIKES: Drinking water (it doesn’t taste like anything!), swimming (she's never been any good at it), country music (twanging noise? Really?), cartoons, pushy people, cats, birds, blonde jokes, people without manners, people who can’t stand their ground, people in general, stupid questions, tea, the MCU STRENGTHS: Independent, charismatic, outgoing, active, confident, protective, loyal, secret keeper WEAKNESSES: Partying, apathetic, bluntly honest, drinks too much caffeine, drinks too much alcohol on occasion, her memory, her friend(s), her brother, her lack of anger control QUIRKS: Hums or sings when she’s focusing on something, runs her hand through her hair, plays with her industrial piercing, chews on the pad of her thumb, flicks her lighter open and close, cracks her knuckles, taps her fingers on her legs, paces back and forth, fiddles with the corner of a page when she’s reading, plays with her bottom lip FEARS: Being confined to small & dark places, losing her brother, losing her friends SECRETS: She loves soap operas, wouldn’t mind trying to have a real relationship (she’s just too lazy to try) OVERALL: CHARISMATIC: Becca, when she’s not in a pissed off mood, has the kind of personality that seems to draw people to her. Despite her general hate of people, she’s easy to get along with and she’s not going to bite your head off if you catch her in the right mood and don’t attempt to push her buttons. She’s very outgoing and when she’s going out to a club or a bar then she’s usually purposely trying to surround herself with people. Becca doesn’t have a problem talking to people she doesn’t know, in fact she’s quite good at it, and while she might not make friends she makes plenty of connections that she can use later on. FLIRTATIOUS: She’s flirtatious almost to a fault; if you’re hot then you can pretty much bet that she’s going to flirt with you, though this isn’t to say that she’s going to make a pass; Becca usually leaves that for the other person. Due to the fact that she’s a natural flirt there are certain actions and speech patterns that Becca follows pretty much all of the time unless there’s something really serious going down…in layman’s terms? She doesn’t even have to like you and one can find evidence of her light flirting. When Becca starts to actually think about what she’s doing while flirting then things have the tendency to swing her way and she likes to use her empathy to find the right paths. CONFIDENT/EGOTISTICAL: Becca really is one of the most egotistical person that you may ever meet. Give her a compliment (or something that she perceives as a compliment) and she’s more likely to respond with “I know” rather than “thank you.” One can’t really say that she’s overconfident simply because Becca does know her limits, but she’s like a daredevil…she likes to push her limits to see if she can accomplish something new. Her pride and her ego don’t particularly allow Becca to ask for help from people since she’s always insisting that she can get it done on her own, and if you ask if she needs help then she’s going to tell you no. If you’re really interested in helping it’s better to start without asking and just hope she doesn’t punch you in the mouth for your efforts. PROTECTIVE: Becca is very protective of her friends and brother and lord help you if you decide to mess either one of them because she will get you back. She puts her friends before herself, risking her life to make sure they’re safe, and if it means that she’s going to get herself hurt then so be it. Being as determined as she is, nothing will stop her from defending them or getting revenge on someone who’s wronged them. Of course her friends and brother aren’t the only things that she’s protective of; there’s her dog, her bookstore, a number of other items, and her pride. VINDICTIVE: Revenge is a dish best served cold...unless you’re Becca in which case you’ll go running off to kick some ass the minute you get the chance to instead of waiting. Despite her obvious lack of patience, she’s surprisingly good at holding onto grudges and revengeful thoughts and she’ll act them out, never you fear. APATHETIC: Yeah…Becca doesn’t give a shit about your sob story. A lot of people seem to think that if you share a pathetic enough story then you’ll get sympathy, and while this is true for some, Becca will just look at you with “and your point is” and probably say something along the lines of “wah, get over it” …or something close. She doesn’t like sympathy, giving it or receiving it, and if you expect some then you’ll be disappointed. Becca is…almost…emotionless and she doesn’t even try to feel for a person and even her friends are barely an exception to this. VOLATILE: For the most part Becca has quite a bit of self-control over the majority of her emotions, but her anger has always been something that’s been a bit difficult to keep control over. The littlest of things have been known to annoy the hell out of her and it doesn’t take much to make her explode. She’s quick to anger and slow to forgive, making her rather dangerous. it's hiding in the dark the background, the background, the background PARENTS: Caleb Murphy -- Father -- deceased Sofia Murphy -- Mother -- deceased SIBLINGS: _____ Murphy -- Brother -- sixteen IMPORTANT FIGURES: none PETS: Rottweiler -- Caesar -- apprx. 4 years old BACKGROUND: Rebecca Murphy was born April fourth, 1983 after her mother had gone through nearly ten hours of intense labor. She was born in Chicago and thanks to her father’s job as a heart surgeon the family was extremely well off, living in the higher reaches of the city. Her mother was a fashion designer and before Rebecca was born she spent a lot of time traveling around the world with her designs, but after her daughter was born Sofia Murphy began living at home, still drawing and sending in her designs but no longer going out to travel the world to see them shown off. As a young girl Rebecca was spoiled, getting everything that she asked for without question, but there were certain things that she was required to learn, or so her mother thought. She was started on the piano when she was five and while she seemed to be good, she never really enjoyed doing it. For elementary school she went to public school just like every other kid and she seemed to be the kind of kid that could attract people to her wherever she went and ended up with more friends than you would have thought possible. She was a rather sweet girl when she was younger but after she finished with elementary school Becca found herself being shipped off to a private school within the city. Becca didn’t think that it would be all bad until she found out that the private school only let their students off the grounds for weekends, holidays, and summer vacations. The private school was an all girls school, which she found to be rather lame, and the girl ended up spending most of her time with a couple of girls who had the bad habit of breaking the rules…a lot. When Becca was twelve when her mother had another child, a baby boy, and while he was growing up he seemed to have it much easier than Becca ever did in terms of being forced to learn random crap that she never used anymore. There was a little bit of jealousy toward the younger boy while he was growing up, but for the most part Becca poured out her frustration in rebellion, starting when she was fourteen when she got her ears pierced for the second time, just above her first set and when she was sixteen one of her friend’s brother got a tattoo gun. He gave her a small rose tattoo on her hip for free, well…mostly for free…he did ask if she’d start going out with him. He was twenty-one and of course her parents disapproved, but Becca didn’t give a rat’s ass. After almost a year of dating him, ten months to be exact, they started to fight quite a bit but nothing physical ever came out of it. He had gotten himself a new motorcycle and that night he kept trying to convince Becca to get on with him, so she finally gave in and got on the back when he offered to take her home. He kept showing off even though she kept yelling at him to stop. He popped a wheelie, hitting a bump at the same time, and Becca was thrown off the motorcycle. He kept going and she was left lying on the road for a car to almost hit her, though thankfully the next passing motorist stopped and brought her to the hospital. Her cell phone was in her pocket and the hospital used it to call her parents, asking them if she was their daughter and then telling them that she was being transported into surgery for a gash on her back and head trauma. Becca couldn’t tell you how long she was in surgery or even how long she was out after the surgery, but when she woke up again everything from what had happened was nothing but a blur to her. Her parents told her what happened and when her boyfriend finally came to visit…well let’s just say he was anything but welcomed in that room and it was the last time Becca ever saw of him. After that her rebellious years started to quiet down some, though she had this obsession with piercings and tattoos, getting two more of each just after moving out of her parents house. After the accident she was left with a long scar along her back and unlike most people, she actually likes showing it off. When Rebecca was twenty-three she moved from Chicago to Seattle, getting into a college to get her business degree before moving to New Haven three years later. She got a call from her brother telling her that her parents had been in a car accident coming home from dinner and that they hadn’t survived, meaning that he no longer had anywhere to live. She flew back to Chicago to deal with the arrangements and the two of them inherited all of the money that was left over, which included the house, but Becca had no desire to live in Chicago and sold it, using the money to buy a house in Ranchester and to start her own bookstore. She’s lived there for almost three years now with her brother. i feel like a monster the puppet master, the puppet master, the puppet master C-BOX NAME: NINJA!!!....I mean...Maria EXPERIENCE: 7 years OTHER CHARACTERS: none...yet x3 COMMENTS: Pretty template yessssss? i keep it hidden under lock and key the sample, the sample, the puppet sample Becca looked down at the table and raised an eyebrow at all of the pieces of mail, the jacket…the pair of jeans that were sitting there, but she didn’t touch anything except for a couple of pieces of mail that had her name on them and weren’t obvious pieces of junk. Tearing open one of the envelopes the blonde walked toward her bedroom to go take a shower, still a bit sweaty and wearing her jogging uniform from taking her dog out almost an hour ago. She mentioned something about a shower to Jess, though whether her roommate actually heard her or not was up for debate, but either way it would only take a little bit of time for her to do it. Stepping out, Becca pulled on her clothes and came out of her room hopping up and down on one foot while trying to pull up her red knee highs, almost tripping over the pair of jeans that had previously been on the table. Jess was already cleaning, well that was nice. The blonde picked them up and backed up a few steps, tossing them into the laundry, before going back out and meeting the smell of food. “Mmm, food.” Grabbing a small plate she grabbed a beer from the fridge too and moved to stand near the table. Her eyes scanned the leftover pieces of mail while Jess sorted through them, seeing if there was anything else with her name, when she realized that Jess was holding on card and just staring at it. Becca didn’t need her empathy to know that there was something on said card that was distracting her. “Yoo-hoo, Earth to Jess.” Nothing. She frowned and let out a small sigh before clearing her throat, “Jess! Wake up woman!” Well, this seemed to get the other woman’s attention and she looked up at her before dropping her gaze back down to the card. "We've got to go to Isaac's apartment...” Fuck that shit were the first words that came into her mind, but she didn’t voice them, choosing instead to choke on her beer mid swallow. ”...Avery's holding a high school party there..." Becca frowned, “why the hell is a high school kid holding a party at your boy toys apartment?” She came to stand behind Jess and her face went blank, “Disney themed? And here I thought that high school kids were supposed to be adult-like.” There was no way in hell she would have ever dressed up as a Disney character, though the fact that she never actually went to high school was beside the point. Grumbling over the fact that she obviously wouldn’t be spending the rest of her day relaxing on the couch, the blonde pulled on a pair of shoes and followed her friend to the apartment she had once shared with Isaac for “emotional support”. The two of them were just standing in front of the apartment and Becca raised an eyebrow, wondering if she was going to have to give Jess a shove inside the building when she finally started to head in. In front of the elevator were a small group of kids dressed like various Disney characters and Becca stopped, looking at one of the boys, “you’re wearing tights.” He looked down at himself, “it’s part of the costume!” The blonde gave him a look of disbelief, “right, you keep telling yourself that it’s normal.” She walked away and followed Jess up the stairs, nearly running into the shorter blonde as she stopped suddenly, staring a brunette woman, "wh-what are you doing here?" Becca frowned and watched the two of them before looking into the party itself. For God’s sake, this is a high school party? Please let there be alcohol, she thought to herself, ignoring Jess and the brunette for a moment while looking inside, watching the high school kids. The three of them were standing in the entrance, basically blocking it, but the thought of moving didn’t really occur to her. |
