beggin' on my knees, baby, won't you please run your fingers through my hair Ariana held her camera carefully in her hands, her fingers gently hitting the button to snap several photos of the beautiful few in the park. New Haven was really a beautiful town over all, it made for wonderful photos, her dark room was full of the old fashioned shops on main street and tons of the park. This was what she did during most of her free time, although she did have a social life, taking photos was a lot more relaxing and, in her opinion, enjoyable.
Her parents paid for all her equipment, they had even paid for her to take a real photography class at the college out side of town the summer before her senior year. Since then she had begun to be a freelance photography, although there were only so many reasons people need photographs here in New Haven, which meant it was far from steady work. Even if she were to open her own business, she wasn't sure if she would have enough costumers to fund it with out her parents money.
Of course it was wonderful to have your parents pay for anything, but sometimes Ariana wished she could be more self sufficient. It was frustrating having to depend on them, it meant if she upset them she could lose everything. Truthfully, she hated her mother at times, but she could never tell her how she felt about the drinking, she would lose her money and probably have to get some lame job at the local grocery store, giving up her dream.
Switching out the lens, Arry looked around the park, it was a beautiful day so it was pretty full of people. She wondered if anyone would mind her taking some photographs of them. It was likely they wouldn't, many people knew her here, actually almost everyone knew each other. Everyone even faked like one another, but she'd heard so many behind the back gossip that she didn't really bother to trust anyone.

*can't stay at home, can't stay at school. old folks say, ya poor little fool ! DOWN THE STREET I'M THE GIRL NEXT DOOR. I'M THE FOX YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR Therapy was always so draining for Codi. Something about sitting on the couch and having a therapist trying to get her to spill her feelings made her just want to fall asleep. She had to admit that the couch was a bit comfortable if nothing else. Seriously, how many times could she sit there and talk about her feelings. She wasn't sure, but as far as she knew, she'd be going to therapy up until she graduated. Possibly longer. It wasn't all bad, she supposed. It was one of the few concrete rules that her aunt and uncle really placed upon her. They were pretty much big on free expression and letting you make your own decisions. For instance, there was nothing that said she had to come home right after therapy. So since it was such a beautiful day she decided to go ahead and take a walk in the park.
The park was pretty crowded today. It seemed like everyone had the same bright idea she had come up with. No matter. She loved people watching. It was one of her favorite activities. She took a seat on a bench and gazed around. No one was too near to her so she searched through her shoulder bag and found the pack of cigarettes she was looking for. Once again it was another habit that though her aunt and uncle didn't completely approve, they didn't force her to stop either. Out of all her old habits, it was probably her safest one. Oh the irony. No one was concerned about her developing lung cancer, but they were concerned about her slitting her wrists. Go figure.
She lit the cigarette and took a long drag. No one should complain about the smoke since they weren't even close enough to actually inhale it. No need to hear anyone bitch about second hand smoke today. As she crossed her legs pretzel style on the bench, she gazed around until they fell on a girl with a camera. She seemed to just be randomly taking pictures of people. Interesting. Codi was sure she had seen her before, after all, New Haven was only but so big.
Codi was pretty into photography as well, though not seriously. Music was more of her thing. She never had any qualms about being in front of a camera though. She licked her lips, tongue gliding gracefully over her snakebite piercings which were pretty obvious thanks to the small lip sized hoops she had placed in them today. "Oi! Getting anything good on that camera of yours?" she called to the girl. She had only been to London once, but ever since she had heard the greeting, she'd fallen in love with it. She used it every chance she got. She even had the accent on the word right. Everything else though come across in her normal American voice. * hello daddy, hello mom, i'm your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb ! , HELLO WORLD I'M YOUR WILD GIRL, I'M YOUR CH CH CH CH CH CHERRY BOMB tagged , ariana outfit , outfit!words , . lyrics , cherry bomb by the runaways. status , finished. notes , .
